La Torre del Puerco

The Torre Del Puerco is one of numerous medieval watchtowers in the area. Dating from the sixteenth century it was intended as a vantage point to spot any approaching vessels. From the tower there is a wonderful view over the beach of La Barrosa. The white sand is accessed via a wooden ramp allowing a leisurely stroll along the impressive shoreline. If you get thirsty during your saunter don’t worry, the Chiringuito La Loma is not too far distant where snacks and cold drinks are served.
