The Embassy

If you passed by the Embajada bar restaurant when it is closed you would be forgiven for mistaking the frontage for that of a wholesaler or a garage even. However, when it opens its door you will behold the hidden treasures within.

It was in fact a former garage of the Guardia civil now converted to a “Tabanco”– a shop and bar where you can buy gourmet food products, and enjoy good food and wine at the spacious bar.  It also serves as a celebrations hall if required.

In the bar you can enjoy typical gourmet cold meats, hot stews, tapas and sample the various popular wines of the region.

The Embassy has won the first prize in Mackerel Week organized by the Chiclanera Hospitality Association and comes highly recommended.
